Claire Winstanley BSc (Hons), MSc, MMACP, MCSP

Owner & Chartered Physiotherapist

Claire qualified from the University of Northumbria in Newcastle in 2001 with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree. She worked as a Physiotherapist in the NHS until 2006 where she travelled to New Zealand to work on the national burns unit for a 6 month period. On her return to the UK she specialised in musculoskeletal rehabilitation in the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS trust and St. Mary's Hospital NHS trust in London.

After meeting her husband, who serves in the Royal Navy, she moved across to the South West in 2008 and started her MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Cardiff University, graduating in 2014 with accredited MMACP membership. This was all whilst working in a private hospital specialising in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and in a private outpatient physiotherapy practice.

With over 20 years experience, Claire has now taken the exciting step of starting her own physiotherapy business which strives to provide a friendly and individual service to her patients.

Away from work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family going on camping and cycling trips. Additionally, she also volunteers her time to the Military Wives Choir and St Johns Ambulance.
